Crisps…

We had a party recently and I bought some crisps to use as snacks. If one wants to purchase large bags of crisps, Walkers have pretty much cornered the market. Apart from the store’s own brands or the organic style expensive crisps, it’s pretty much just Walker’s Sensations, or Doritos. Having said that though, their Sensations crisps are quite nice.

Anyway, in my opinion, the best crisps are:

1) Monster Munch Pickled Onion.

2) Golden Wonder Cheese and Onion… ( Sadly these are only really available in Scotland now 😦  )

3) Seabrooks Ready Salted.

Mmmmm… anyway, here’s a great (although most will see it as hideous) way to enjoy some Walker’s (ex Smiths) Salt and Shake Crisps…

Take 1 bag of salt and shake crisps…

Add a tiny amount of the salt

Pour (yes POUR) in a fine amount of Lea and Perring’s Worcestershire sauce… and DON’T SKIMP!

Enjoy!

When you’ve finished.. drink the remaining sauce..

Fantastic! Incidentally, when you buy LP Sauce, open it immediately and pour a little down the sink. Opening it helps it to mature that little bit more, without doing so, the first use always tastes very thin.

Ever wondered where L P Sauce came from?  –> http://www.splishme.com
